I beleieve it is a Laurona made for Germany and th barrells are stamped Habicht. I looked that up on the internet and it means Hawk in German and was a brand name in Germany. It looks a little nicer than most Lauronas I see advertised on the internet. 12ga, 28', mod & full, real nice wood, side clips, it appears to be true bone charcoal color case and almost all of the color case is still there. Tell me what you think and what it might be worth.

IMO, they are as good as a Uggie model 30 or that era. Dal; I'd give $280 for that gun any day and probably rip my pocket getting the money out; I mean it is a 16! _________________ over the hill and picking up speed. 'I ask sir, what is the militia? I agree, I have checked out grade 1 model 30 Uggies and this Laurona is very similar quality fit and finish, maybe even a little better in some areas. I see plenty of them for sale for under $300 but they are the sears models and ussually beat. D.A.L did get a great deal on that 16ga.

Used to own a really nice Sears model; it had good fit and finish and barrel regulation was good. I sold mine for $400. The Sears has the lever release forearm, where your's has the Anson. _________________ over the hill and picking up speed. 'I ask sir, what is the militia? Mine didn't have swivels and the chambers are marked 12-76. Otherwise they could be the same gun. I paid $320 and thought it was a fair deal. Hope you like yours. Some jack leg broke into my pops house and left with all of his fire arms: Sako, Laurona/habicht 12 gauge sxs etc., at least no one was hurt This happened about two years back and I started looking for the Habicht last fall when I felt the thief may have felt it cold enough to sell. If I post the serials could you guys check for me. Will offer full recompense and reward to recover the shotgun I wanted to pass on to his grandchildren. The gun was stolen in Maryland can offer any verifications needed: police report etc. Thanks

The serial number is displayed on the last photo of the flats of the gun.
